A history is retained for all allocations and allocation corrections that you have processed through the purchase ledger.
Each group of transactions has a unique allocation reference so it possible to report on which transactions have been allocated together.

The Allocation History is a report showing the transactions that have already been allocated for a selected supplier.
Example of an allocation history:
Click Creditors then click Transactions.
Click Save and then click Save on the Save Options window to post the transaction live.
Click Payment and locate the above supplier to enter a payment for a value of Β£5,000.00 GBP Gross.
Click Save to post the transaction live.
Raise another payment again for Β£5,000.00 GBP Gross and another one for Β£5,000.00 Gross.
Click Creditors then click Allocation.
Enter the above supplier on the Advanced Filter panel and click Apply.
Partial allocate the above payments to the invoice.
Note: You will have to adjust the Allocated Value for the Invoice as the total is greater than the sum of all of the payments you raised.
Click Creditors then click Enquiries.
Select Purchase Transactions and select the checkbox in front of the above transaction.
Note: The Action Panel opens from the right hand-side of the screen.
Click on Allocation History card to view the allocation history.
Note: You can see 4 transactions displayed as you had one invoice and three receipts.
