Next Generation - Processing payment received in bulk using Bulk Receipts

Bulk Receipts enables you to enter receipts for multiple customers with a single process and it allows you to locate the transactions you wish to process and enter details to be applied to all the receipts you're entering.

When you process in bulk, each customer will have a separate receipt created for them.

You can also use Bulk Receipts for processing a single transaction where you can select the check for a transactions you wish to proceed with.

Access Bulk Receipts

  1. Click Debtors then click Transactions.

  2. Click Bulk Receipts.

Note: The screen opens listing all transactions for all customers. To narrow down the search use the Advanced Filter.

The record count found at the top of the screen shows the number of transactions found and changes once you start selecting transactions for processing.

The Outstanding balance field at the bottom of the screen is the total of all the transactions displayed in the Bulk Receipts screen.

The Receipt balance field at the bottom of the screen updates according to the transactions selected for processing.

Note: You can only process 10,000 transactions at a time. If you would exceed this limit, you receive a warning message and you have to narrow down the number of transactions by applying more filters using the Advanced Filter.

Processing receipts in bulk using Bulk Receipts

  1. Click Debtors then click Transactions.

  2. Click Bulk Receipts and create your filter for the transactions you want to process.

  3. Select Select All.

    • Note: For more information on the processing screen opened after clicking the Process button, please refer to the processing screen.

  4. Click Process then enter the details.

  5. Click Save.

    • Note: You receive a confirmation of the total value that's posted.

  6. Click Yes.

Note: You can also select just 1 transaction to process, the process doesn't change.
