You can use the grouping functionality in Financials in most of the enquiries and processing screens. The field is turned on a default and can be turned off in the cog menu by selecting the Show Grouping option.
The home and currency values are bolded for you for easier viewing. When you select for example the home value column to be grouped, the currency values column will be bolded and vica versa.
This article takes you through how to hide, show and use the grouping functionality.
The example below takes you through a Debtors Enquiry screen, however you can follow this example on any other modules of Financials.
Turn off Grouping
Click Debtors then Enquiries then click Sales Transactions.
Note: All sales transactions are displayed. You can narrow down you search using advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.
Under the name of the Sales Ledger Enquiry screen, you can see a field saying 'Drag & drop column headers for grouping'.
Click on the cog icon on the top right-hand side of the screen and scroll down to find the Hide Grouping option.
Click on the Hide Grouping option to remove the field from under the name of the screen.
Turn on Grouping
Click Debtors then Enquiries then click Sales Transactions.

Click on the cog icon on the top right-hand side of the screen and scroll down to find the Show Grouping option.
Click on the Show grouping option to add the field back under the name of the screen.
Use Grouping on the Account Name column
Click Debtors then Enquiries then click Sales Transactions.

Find the Account Name column on your enquiry and hover your mouse to the header of the column until you see a hand icon, then hold down the left button on your mouse and move the column into the 'Drag & drop column headers for grouping field.
The enquiry screen updates to show you a different view where your sales transactions are grouped based on the Account Name column.
For each account name where multiple transactions are available, you can see the name and an expand arrow. Clicking the expand arrow displays each individual transaction that you can drill down on further by clicking on the expand arrow.
You can add more columns to the grouping and also remove any no longer wanted columns by clicking on the 'x' next to the column name.
