Next Generation - Create and edit notes for transactions from a sales ledger enquiry

You can store extra information against the transaction you select which you can record in the Notes tab within the Action Panel.

Create a new note

  1. Click Debtors then Enquiries then click Sales Transactions.

    • Note: All sales transactions are displayed. You can narrow down you search using advanced filter. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Select the checkbox in front of a customer you wish to add notes for.

    • Note: The Action Panel automatically opens out from the right-hand side of the screen.

  3. Click on the Notes tab.

  4. Add your notes in the textbox.

  5. To add more information including time and date, click on the date, email and time icon.

  6. Click Save Notes.

Access the Notes tab when starting your journey on a customer record

  1. Click Debtors then click Customers.

    • Note: All customers are displayed. You can narrow down you search using advanced filter. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Select the checkbox in front of a customer you wish to add notes for.

    • Note: The Action Panel automatically opens out from the right-hand side of the screen.

  3. Click on the Sales Transaction card.

  4. On the Sales Ledger Enquiry, select the checkbox next to a transaction.
    ​Note: The Action Panel automatically opens out from the right-hand side of the screen.

  5. Click on the Notes tab on the Action Panel.

  6. Add you notes in the textbox.

  7. To add more information including time and date, click on the date, email and time icon.

  8. Click Save Notes.

Edit an existing note

  1. Click Debtors then Enquiries then click Sales Transactions.

    • Note: All sales transactions are displayed. You can narrow down you search using advanced filter. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Select the checkbox in front of a customer you wish to add notes for.
    ​Note: The Action Panel automatically opens out from the right-hand side of the screen.

  3. Click on the Notes tab to open the notes in edit mode.

  4. Add your changes in the textbox.

  5. To add more information including time and date, click on the date, email and time icon.

  6. Click Save Notes.
