Once you have used a stock record in a transaction, certain restrictions are applied to that item.
While your new stock record is not in use, you can change the Stock Code, however once the item is used on transactions, the Stock Code field is disabled and cannot be changed.
The table below shows which actions you can and cannot perform on a used stock item.
