What's new?
We are very excited to introduce the enhancements described below in this release!
Quick Search in List View for Records Screens
Listening to your feedback on Access Financials, to improve navigation and efficiency, we've implemented the Quick Search for our Next Generation Record screens.
This new feature allows you to quickly search for specific records without having the leave the record screen making your data access faster and more seamless.
This new feature is currently available for the following Record List screens:
Note: The examples below take you through the Customer Records screen, but you can follow the same process for the above mentioned Record List screens too.
Use the Quick Search in the Customer Records screen
Click Debtors then click Customers.
On the Customer Records screen, click on the hyperlink, the underlined text either in the Customer Code or Customer Name columns.
Note: You are taken to the List View of the Customer Record, with your selected customer displayed. The Edit button at the bottom of the screen indicates that your security profile permissions allows you to edit customer records. If your security profile doesn't grant you edit access, you will see a Close button.
Use the Quick Search Feature
The left-hand side panel on the above screenshot displays your customer records in List View.
You can use the search field at the top of the panel to narrow down the records you wish to work with.
Note: When you have applied filters to the Customer Records List/Enquiry, the filtering is also applied to the List View, so you don't have to search or filter twice.
Once you have searched for the customers you need, you can select individual records on the left-hand side panel to view the relevant details.
Navigating to a different screen and returning to the list view
Click on the hyperlinked or underlined values on the Aged Debt section of the Details tab of a customer record.
Note: You are taken to the Aged Debt Enquiry for your selected customer presenting you with the transactions for your selected value.Once you have found the information you need, just click on the Back button near the top right-hand side of your Financials tab just after your database name to be taken back to the Customer Records List View with your original customer still in focus.
Alternatively, you can click on the Customers breadcrumb which you can find at the top of your Financials tab, near your database name to be taken back to the Customer Records List.
Exit the List View
When you are in the Customer Records List View and would like to return to the Customer Records List/Enquiry, just click on the Back button at the top of the Quick Search panel.
Statement Name Column added in Bank Reconciliation screen
We've added the Statement Name column to the Bank Reconciliation screen to improve your workflow when you are working with multiple open bank statements using the AI Open option in the Statements field to provide you with visibility of the source statement for each transaction.
The key benefits for the Statement Name column:
Enhanced Clarity: You can easily identify which bank statement each transaction originates from during reconciliation.
Improved Efficiency: Streamline your reconciliation process when working with multiple open statements.
Reduced Errors: Minimize confusion and potential mistakes when you are matching transactions across different statements.
Adding the Statement column
Click Financials then Cash Book and then select the checkbox in front of the nominal bank account that you wish to work with.
Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right-hand side of the screen.
Click on the Bank Rec tab on the Action Panel.
The Statement Name column is now available as an additional column under the Cog Menu on the Unmatched Tab. The column can be filtered, sorted or pinned.
Select one or more transactions sourced from the same bank statement and reconcile them to the needed cashbook transactions.
To avoid potential mistakes, an error message will be displayed when reconciling transactions sourced from different statements.
The AI services' logic has been enhanced leading to more suggested matches
Our Bank Reconciliation module now featured enhanced AI-powered auto matching that significantly improves the accuracy and volume of suggested transaction matches. The upgraded AI logic analyses transaction patterns more intelligently, resulting in more precise match suggestions and reduced manual reconciliation time.
To access your Digital Assistant, just click on Assistant icon in the bottom right-hand side corner of your screen, then click Ask a question and select the module you wish to learn about.
