24 June 2026 Next Generation screen and maintenance release

What's new?

Introducing: Enhanced Bank Reconciliation with Create Transactions

We're excited to introduce a powerful new addition to the Bank Reconciliation screen — the Create Transactions button.

Reconciling your bank account just got a whole lot easier. Whether you're dealing with unrecorded bank fees, charges, or interest, or you've spotted a discrepancy between your bank statement and cash book, you can now post the missing transactions directly from the reconciliation screen — no manual calculations required.

What's new?

The Create Transactions button gives you two key capabilities:

  • Post transactions for unrecorded items — For bank statement entries that have no corresponding cash book record, simply select the transaction and create the relevant entry on the spot. Key fields such as date, value, and reference are pre-populated for you automatically.

  • Post the difference between matched transactions — When a bank statement amount doesn't fully align with what's already recorded in the cash book, select both sides and let the system calculate and post the difference for you.

Both options are accessible from the Unmatched tab within Bank Reconciliation, keeping everything in one place and streamlining your workflow from start to finish.

For more information and detail, please refer to our Create missing cash book transactions directly from the Bank Reconciliation screen article.

To access your Digital Assistant, just click on the bubble icon in the bottom right-hand side corner, then click Ask a question and select the module you wish to learn about.
