Next Generation - View your customers transactions or enquiries

You can access different areas of the system directly from the customer record list with the customer already populated for you for transactions and enquiries.

The cards that display in the action panel depend on your permission. This article explains both transaction and enquiry cards and how to view these.

Create transactions

  1. Click Debtors then click Customers.

    • Note: All customers are displayed. You can narrow down your search by using the advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Select the checkbox in front of the customer.

    • Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right-hand-side of the screen.

  3. As an example, click Add Invoice.

    • The Sales Ledger Invoice screen opens with your selected customer pre-populated in the Customer field.

Repeat the same steps as above for any of the transaction cards.

View enquiries

  1. Click Debtors then click Customers.

    • Note: All customers are displayed. You can narrow down your search by using the advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Select the checkbox in front of the customer.

      • Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right-hand-side of the screen.

  3. As an example, click Sales Transaction.

    • All sales transactions for your selected customer are displayed.

Repeat the same steps as above for any of the enquiry cards.
