Access Financials has defaults names for certain columns or fields and some of default names for some areas can be changed to suit your business needs better.
β
There are five transaction user keys which are extra fields that you can assign to your transactions so capture more information and the default names of these can be customised.
β
To set up transaction user keys, please refer to the Set up transactions user keys article.
β
As the option to do this is in the System Option module which is security profile driven, you will need to have access to this before you can perform the steps below.
Change the Transaction User Keys default names:
Click System then Settings and then click Custom Labels.
Click on the Edit button and find the Transaction Custom Fields section and within there the Transaction User Keys fields.
Enter the custom name you wish to use for any or for all transaction user keys.
Click Save and log out and back in for the changes to take effect.
After you have made the changes and logged out and back in to Financials, you will see custom name you have selected instead of Transaction User Keys.
β
You can now attach transaction user keys to any transactions.
