Next Generation - Customise the Selling and Purchasing Price Key labels for your stock items

A guide to customising Price Key labels for stock items, covering how to rename the default selling and purchasing price keys to more meaningful labels for your business.

You can customise the labels for the 10 selling and 10 purchasing Price Keys for your stock items to make them more meaningful for your business.

By default, they are labelled as PRICE KEY 1, PRICE KEY 2, and so on, but you can rename them to labels such as "Trade Price", "Retail Price", or "Wholesale Price".

The customised labels appear on the Prices tab of stock records for both Sales Prices and Purchase Prices sections.

Access the Price Keys screen

  1. Click Stock then click Price Keys.
Note: All 10 Price Keys are displayed with their current labels.

Customise your Price Key labels

  1. Click Stock then click Price Keys.

  2. Click on the Edit button at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Click into the Price Key field you wish to customise and enter your new label.
