Next Generation - Access the action panel from a stock record

A guide to accessing the Action Panel from a stock record, covering the available tabs and their functions, including Actions, Notes, and Tasks."

You can access different areas of the system directly from a stock record, like for example the Stock Movement History Enquiry.

To open the Action Panel from a stock record

  1. Click Stock then click Stock Records.

    • Note: All stock records are displayed. You can narrow down your search by using the advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the 3 small horizontal lines icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Select the checkbox for the stock record you want to delete.
    ​Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right-hand side of the screen.

  3. Select the checkbox in front of the record you wish to work with.
    ​Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right hand-side of the screen which gives you access to multiple tabs.

Actions

  • Available when you select a single or multiple records. The cards at the top section of the tab represent transactions while the bottom part represents enquiries.

  • You're able to access the cards which are security profile permission driven on the Actions tab.

Notes

  • You can only add notes for a single stock item at a time.

  • You can add notes that are relevant to the stock . For more information on the Notes tab, follow our article on creating and editing notes.

Task

  • You can only add tasks for a single stock item at a time.

  • You can view and create new tasks. For more information on how to add a new task, follow our article on creating, editing, and deleting tasks.
