This error occurs because the cost centre code status doesn't match the project status of active.
To resolve set the cost centre as active:
In Dimensions, click Costing, Projects.
Find and select the Project affected from the list.
Click Edit.
Change the status to Suspended and click Save.
Change the status back to Active and click Save again. This will set all the cost centres against a project to active and resolve the error.
