This error occurs when updating assets to Nominals and the asset does not have a Project and Cost Centre assigned. Check the Settings tab on the asset record and ensure both are populated.
Alternatively, turn off the Compulsory Costing option on the nominal account. Click Financials, then click Accounts, open the nominal, click Edit, and clear the Compulsory Costing option on the Details tab.
