Next Generation - View Mode on the Chart of Accounts screen

Once you have built a structure of your chart of accounts, the Chart of Accounts screen will open as default in View Mode.

The screen defaults to the home currency of the database and displays your structure in collapsed mode which you can expand category by category by clicking on the expand icon until you reach the Detail Category or the lowest level category within your setup.

The Chart of Accounts screen in View Mode contains the following:

Section	Description
All	Collapsed view of your chart of accounts that can be expanded from the top category to the bottom category. Contains the full name and code of the built nominal account. To access other functions and areas of the system, select a single or multiple check boxes. Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right-hand side of the screen. Instead of manually selecting all the checkboxes for the Detail Category, you can select the category above the detail category. Note: The check boxes for the detail category will not be selected, however the action that you select from the Action Panel will include all of the detail categories. Account Code	Hyperlink that displays the account code of the nominal accounts. To view more information about the nominal accounts, click on the underlined hyperlink. This will take you in the Nominal Account screen in edit mode, where you can view the Details, Data & Visual Analysis, Settings, Custom and Profile if you have subscribed to Nominal Profiler subscribed to.
Account Name	Hyperlink that displays the account name of the nominal accounts. To view more information about the nominal accounts, click on the underlined hyperlink. This will take you in the Nominal Account screen in edit mode, where you can view the Details, Data & Visual Analysis, Settings, Custom and Profile if you have subscribed to Nominal Profiler subscribed to.
Account Type	Displays the type of the nominal account. Types can be: Nominal Bank Petty Cash
