Next Generation - Change or update customer dates on a transaction

When you use the Credit Control Module, you can update the customer dates and payments values as per your agreement with your customer.

Change or update customer dates:

  1. Click Debtors then Credit Control and then click Chase Debtors.
    ​Note: The Chase Debtors Enquiry screen opens listing all your customers and their transactions. You can narrow down you search using advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Click the checkbox in front of the customer you wish to work with.
    ​Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right-hand side of the screen.

  3. Click the Update Customer Dates action card and update the details as needed.

Note: If you make changes to the Next Contact Date or the Payment Promised Date, then you may also want to update any Tasks or Diary updates that you have regarding the transaction.
