Next Generation - Amending invoice dates in Chase Debtors Enquiry

Using the Amend Invoice Dates you can update the due date, the anticipated receipt date and the chase status of a transaction.

You can select one or more checkboxes on the detail section and then select the Amend Invoice Dates action card to get to the Amend Invoice Dates screen.

To get to the Amend Invoice dates action card

  1. Click Debtors then Credit Control then click Chase Debtors.

    • Note: All sales transactions are displayed. You can narrow down you search using advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Click on the icon next to the customer you wish to see the transactions for.

  3. Select the checkbox in front of the transactions you wish to work with.

    • Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right hand-side of the screen.

  4. On the Action Panel, click on the Amend Invoice dates action card.

    • Note: The Amend Invoice Dates screen opens for you and it's options are explained in detail in the table below.

The table below aims to explain each option in detail:

Option

Description

Due Date

  • You can select one of the following options:

    • Do Not Amend.

    • Set To Fixed Date.

    • Advance By.

    • Set Do Not Chase - only available for Chase Status drop-down.

    • Clear Do Not Chase - only available for Chase Status drop-down.

  • Defaults to Do Not Amend.

  • When you select Set To Fixed Date, a new calendar field is displayed defaulted to the current system date and can be changed to select the relevant date.

  • When you select Advance By, two new fields are displayed, one for the number of days and the other for the frequency where you can select from Days, Weeks or Months.

Anticipated Receipt Date

  • You can select one of the following options:

    • Do Not Amend.

    • Set To Fixed Date.

    • Advance By.

  • Defaults to Do Not Amend.

  • When you select Set To Fixed Date, a new calendar field is displayed defaulted to the current system date and can be changed to select the relevant date.

  • When you select Advance By, two new fields are displayed, one for the number of days and the other for the frequency where you can select from Days, Weeks or Months.

Chase Status

  • You can select one of the following options:

    • Do Not Amend.

    • Set Do Not Chase.

    • Clear Do Not Chase.

  • Defaults to Do Not Amend.
