Next Generation - Access the Action Panel from Selling

"A guide to accessing the Action Panel from sales enquiry and record screens, covering how to view available action cards from the Outstanding Sales Orders Enquiry and the Deliver Orders screen.

You can carry out different actions or access different parts of the system by opening the Action Panel in any enquiry or record screens in Selling.

On some enquiry screen you can select multiple records or transactions while on others you can only work with one item at a time.

The example below takes you through accessing the Action Panel from the Outstanding Sales Order Enquiry, but you can also get to the Action Panel from the Process Credit Note and the Sales Estimate screens.

Access the Action Panel from the Outstanding Sales Orders Enquiry

  1. Click Selling click Enquiries and then click Outstanding Orders.
    Note:
    All outstanding orders are displayed. You can narrow down your search by using the advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the 3 small horizontal lines icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Select the checkbox in front of any of the transactions.

    • Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right-hand-side of the screen.

  3. You can see the available action cards. The action cards are security profile permission driven, so you might not have access to all of them.

Access the Action Panel from the Deliver Orders screen

  1. Click Selling click Transactions and then click Deliver Orders.
    Note:
    All orders that can be delivered are displayed. You can narrow down your search by using the advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the 3 small horizontal lines icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Select the checkbox in front of any of the transactions.
    Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right-hand side of the screen.

  3. You can see the available action cards. The action cards are security profile permission driven, so you might not have access to all of them.

You can also access the Action Panel from the Invoice Orders , Process Credit Notes or Sales Estimates or screens.
