A built nominal account is an account that's already been built into the system and has most likely had an analysis created for it and has been used by the system.
Some conditions may prevent deletion. Address these first before deleting the account.
Delete a built nominal account:
Click Financials, then click Chart of Accounts.
Expand your structure until you get to the Detail Category level.
Select the checkbox in front of the relevant nominal account, then select the Delete action card and review the message.
If none of the delete conditions apply, the account is deleted. If a category has been moved to the right-hand panel but not yet built to a nominal account, remove it:

Click Financials, then click Chart of Accounts.
Set the screen to be in Build Mode by moving the toggle button at the top of the screen to the right.
Select the checkbox in front of the category in the right-hand panel.
Click Remove to remove the unbuilt category.
