Create a read-only log-in for auditors

Updated over a month ago

It will be necessary for the Read-Only user to be a member of Access Evo and be assigned a role in the Financials dataset.

Once this is done, they can be given the appropriate access as below.

Access to the modules and processes is controlled via Security Profiles.

In some databases a Read-Only profile may already exist, but if not then it will be necessary to set one up:

The Permissions tab contains a Filter box which allows you to filter by access type which are - this can be used when creating a new profile or to review an existing one.

  • View - allows view only.

  • Edit - can make changes to the record.

  • New - can create a record or transaction.

So in summary, use the filter to ensure only the View option is selected for all modules to be accessed, and none of the others are selected.
