Can a soft or hard closed period be undone?

When a period is soft closed or hard closed this cannot be undone.

The only option would be to revert back to a backup before the period in question was closed. To do this Support will need to liaise with colleagues in the hosting team. Please include details of when the back up needs to be restored from, being aware that any entries or processing made after the time of the back up will be lost.
