If Access Financials says that the emails have been sent within System, Email, Processing then the emails may be being stopped by your email server. However, there can often be a delay between the sending and receipt of emails from Financials and so it is advisable to allow an hour or so to ensure that they were not just delayed.
Check the email address used to send them to ensure that it is correct. This can be done via the System Options area.
There may be a rule set on the mail box to filter any emails from Access Financials, in which case you would need to speak to your email server administrator to review or remove the rule.
To allow the email record to accept emails from Access Financials, your email server administrator can add the below SPF record to their DNS:
Setting up SPF Record Inclusion
Please add an SPF DNS record allowing mail to be sent, if the outgoing mail is purporting to be from your domain (e.g. [email protected]).
SMTP servers often reject mail that ‘pretends’ to be from that domain if it originates from another SMTP server outside of that domain. The SPF record tells the SMTP server for that domain that theaccessgroup.smtp.com is OK to send mail on behalf of COMPANY.com.
The format of the SPF record is as follows: v=spf1 include:theaccessgroupSPF.smtp.com -all
Also please add an external relay receive connector to their exchange server allowing mail originating from theaccessgroup.smtp.com into your domain.
