You can have multiple nominal accounts that you want to use for purchase ledger invoices and credit notes that you wish to set as your accrual nominal on different detail lines as well as use different accrual periods with costing details.
Depending on which combination you use, there will be different recurring journals automatically created for you. For more information on how to set up the accrual nominal and accrual periods, please refer to our Set up Purchase Ledger Accruals article.

The table below shows a few examples of where you are using a combination of same or different accrual periods and nominals as well as costing details. We have used a purchase ledger invoice with 2 detail lines as the example below:
