Next Generation - Use the Advanced Filter panel on the Nominal Summaries enquiries

The Advanced Filter panel opens automatically when you load the P&L Summary enquiry so that you can add your filters with ease alternatively you can close the panel manually.

The enquiry is automatically grouped as show under the Grouping header by default, on the first category that has been set up for your data setup order in the Nominal Options which can be viewed in the System module which is Security Profile and permission driven.

The Grouping on the panel can be changed by clicking on the Configure Grouping hyperlink and you can also group by several categories.

If you are using Nominal Attributes, you can also group by Attributes.

The Search Criteria contains the most commonly used fields which can be changed by clicking on the Configure Fields hyperlink.

Note: Nominal accounts that have the option Allow Zero Budgets ticked will always be included in the P&L and Balance Sheet Summary enquiries regardless of the Include Zero Lines option.

  1. Click Financials then click Accounts.

  2. Find the account you want to check and click on Edit.

  3. Click on the Settings tab and untick the Allow Zero Budgets check box.

  4. Click Save.

  1. Click Financials then click Chart of Accounts.

  2. Expand the account structure to get access to the Detail Category.

  3. Highlight an account and click on View.

  4. Select View Record from the offered options.

  5. Click on the Settings tab and untick the Allow Zero Budgets check box

  6. Click Save.
