Next Generation - The Turnover Analysis on a cash or bank type account explained

The Turnover Analysis Tab on the cash or bank type record displays the current, last and previous years and allows you to drill down on each period's transactions by clicking on the hyperlink.

The values that are displayed on the Turnover Analysis for each period on the cash or bank type record are the total values of all transactions where the record has been used.

Clicking on the hyperlink takes you to the Nominal Ledger Enquiry or Nominal Transaction Enquiry for the selected record and will display all transaction types for the record.
​Note: The Debit and Credit values at the bottom of the enquiry screen are the totals for the period you have selected on the Turnover Analysis.

Access the Turnover Analysis tab for a bank or cash type account

  1. Click Financials then click Cash Book.

    • Note: All the bank and cash type nominal accounts are displayed. You can narrow down your search by using the advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Click on the Nominal Account Code or Nominal Account name hyperlink or underlined text for the record you wish to view the Turnover Analysis for.

  3. Click on the Turnover Analysis tab, then click on the hyperlinked value for a period.

    • Note: The Nominal Transactions Enquiry opens for you listing all the transactions that make up the total of the Period Turnover value.

  4. The Credit and Debit at the bottom of the enquiry shows the total credit and debit values for the selected account.
