With custom fields, you can capture extra information against the nominal account.
As default, there are only 2 custom fields displayed for a nominal account under the Custom tab, but you can add more of these fields to help capture even more information that you wish to add to your nominal accounts.
To add in more of these custom fields, you will need access to the System Module which is security permission driven.
The custom fields includes four different options:
6 User Character fields | Accepts any character entry. |
3 User Number fields | Accepts only numbers. |
3 User Date fields | You can select a date. |
3 User Flag fields | Have checkboxes. |
To set up custom fields:
Click System then select Options.
Click Custom Fields then click Edit and then click on the Nominal tab.
Select the desired number of the following fields:
User Character
User Number
User Date
User Flag
Click Save.
