The Uploaders section of the Access tab may not appear for the following reasons:
In any version of AOI from 5.10.18 onwards, the Uploaders section is only present if the license includes this functionality.
With AOI v5.14.9 the Uploaders section may not appear because of a problem with some configuration files.
The Excel ribbon needs resetting (see below).
The licence being used is incorrect or is an old licence.
To check if the Uploaders section should appear, check with other colleagues:
If the Uploaders section does not appear for them either, it is likely that the license being used has Uploaders Disabled. Contact support and request a new license with Uploaders Enabled.
If the Uploaders section does appear for them and you are using AOI v5.14.9, contact support and request the Hotfix SUPAOI-319.
If the uploaders were present before a new licence was applied then please contact [email protected] and request a replacement with the required options.
Excel Ribbon Reset
You can check and reset if necessary, the Excel ribbon menu settings as follows:
In Excel, select File
Select Options
Select Customize Ribbon
Click on the plus-sign next to the Access menu in the right-hand panel
You should see the Uploaders menu option appear underneath
If not, then Right-Click on the Access menu option in the right-hand panel
Select Reset Tab
This will hopefully now display the Uploaders menu option
