Transaction appearing unexpectedly or not appearing as expected on aged report

Updated over a month ago

How transactions appear on the aged reports depends on which report is being run, whether it is outstanding, and the allocation information associated with them.

The Aged Debtors or Aged Creditors reports base their information on whether the transaction is outstanding or not. If it is outstanding then it will appear.

The As At Aged Debtors or As At Aged Creditors reports use the allocation history and so an allocated transaction may appear as outstanding if its allocated period/date is later than the report is being run at. Conversely, it may show as allocated even if outstanding if allocations have been posted and then corrected.

The Transaction Enquiry screen allows you to check the transaction via either the Outstanding column, or by drilling down via the blue ellipsis button to check the Allocation History.

If there is an issue with a transaction, our support team will need to investigate, run scripts or liaise with the hosting or development teams. Any Issues with contacting us, please see the following Get support in Access Financials.
