Transaction appearing unexpectedly or not appearing as expected on aged report

How transactions appear on aged reports depends on which report you run, whether the transaction is outstanding, and its allocation information.

The Aged Debtors or Aged Creditors reports show transactions based on whether they are outstanding. If outstanding, they appear on the report.

The As At Aged Debtors or As At Aged Creditors reports use allocation history. An allocated transaction may appear as outstanding if its allocated period or date is later than the date the report is run to. Conversely, it may appear as allocated even if outstanding if allocations were posted and then corrected.

Use the Transaction Enquiry screen to check a transaction via the Outstanding column, or by clicking the blue ellipsis button to view the Allocation History.

If there is a genuine issue with a transaction, contact the support team to investigate. If you have trouble reaching us, see Get support in Access Financials.
