Nominal Accounts have the wrong balance or turnover values based on transactions

When checking the turnover or balance, please ensure that you have reviewed the transactions to ensure that the expected balance does disagree with the transactional one.

If the nominal account affected is a year end account, then this could be due to the year end. As Access Financials does not show the transactions that make up the year end process, this difference could be due to the transference of balances into this account.

You can check this by viewing the Year End Journal report by navigating to Financials, Reports, Transactions and using reference of YEARXXYY, where XX and YY are the years of your previous year end.

If this is not a year end account or you have checked this and there is still an issue, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
