Unable to post into a soft closed period

This issue is most likely to be caused by Period Posting rights. To resolve this:

  1. Log into Financials as an Administrator

  2. Click System, Security, Future Period Posting Rights

  3. On the left hand side, highlight the appropriate User Profile and click Edit.

  4. Under the Settings banner click Post To Restricted Periods

  5. Click Save. You should now be able to post to the restricted period.
