The period end process checks for assets requiring depreciation based on the current or working period. You can bypass the warning, but confirm there is no outstanding depreciation before doing so — a period end cannot be reversed once run.
⚠️ Important: Once a period is closed, depreciation cannot be run for that period.
Bypass the depreciation warning:
Click Assets.
Click Options, then click Asset Options.
Clear the Force Depreciation before Period or Year End checkbox.
Re-run the period end.
