Assets - How do I create an Asset with depreciation after I have closed a period?

Using the In Service Period and Next Posting Period fields in the Settings tab allows you to create an Asset with historical depreciation when entering a new one.

For example:

Creating an Asset in period 3 with In Service Period and Next Posting Period of 1 will generate the depreciation for periods 1 and 2 during the process.
