If Excel keeps freezing and is frozen for 5-10 mins until an error message pops up: Microsoft Excel is waiting for another application to complete an OLE action, then please see the following:
On the computer, on the tray at the bottom of the screen, right-click and select Task manger.
Select any processes Excel.exe
In the bottom right, click End Task
Start Excel.
Click File, Options, Add-ins
Use the Manage drop-down and select Disabled Items.
Click Go.
Select any disabled items.
Click Enable.
Click OK.
