All purchase order credit notes are batched automatically after you have saved them and you can edit these at a later time.
Some fields may be disabled when the transactions is edited depending on the actions you have previously carried out on the credit notes.
There are a few different ways that you can edit your batched credit notes.
Edit a credit note from a supplier
Click on Creditors then click on Suppliers.
Note: All suppliers are displayed. You can narrow down your search by using the advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.Select the checkbox in front of the supplier whose credit note you want to work with.
Note: The Action Panel opens automatically from the right-hand side of the screen.Click on Outstanding Orders.
Note: All outstanding orders and credit notes are displayed. You can narrow down your search by using the advanced filtersSelect the checkbox in front of the credit note you want to work with to get access to the Action Panel.
Select Edit Order card to edit your credit note.
Make your changes and when you are ready, click Save.
You credit note is saved back to the batch.
Edit a credit note from the Outstanding Orders Enquiry
Click on Purchasing then Enquiries and then click Outstanding Orders.
Note: All orders, credit notes and requests are displayed. You can narrow down your search by using the advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.Select the checkbox in front of the transaction you want to work with.
Note: The Action Panel opens automatically from the right-hand side of the screen.Select Edit Order card to edit your credit note.
Make your changes and when you are ready, click Save.
You credit note is saved back to the batch.
Edit a credit note from Process Credit Notes
Click on Purchasing then Transactions and then click on Process Credit Notes.
Note: All credit notes are displayed. You can narrow down your search by using the advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the icon and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.Select the checkbox in front of a credit note you want to edit.
Note: The Action Panel opens automatically from the right-hand side of the screen.Click on Edit Orders.
Note: The Legacy Financials Purchase Order Credit Note screen opens in edit mode.Make your changes and when you are ready, click Save.
You credit note is saved back to the batch.
