If the user is not registered for Access Evo, then follow the steps in the article Access Evo: Add new members . Once they are a member, they can be managed via the process below:
Go to Members and search for the user.
Click Actions.
Click Manage Roles.
Select the level of access to give for the Financials database and other modules.
Administrator and User base their access on the Security Profile (see article Security Profiles for more information).
Approver allows them to access invoices via the Approve app.
Apps only allows mobile access.
No Access removes all permissions and the ability to log into the database.
Finally, click Save.
Granting Impersonation Rights in EVO
To allow another user to configure access on your behalf in EVO, you can grant impersonation rights by following these steps:
Open EVO and click your name at the top-right corner.
Select My Account from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to the Impersonations section.
Enable the Impersonation toggle if it is currently disabled.
Enter the email address of the person who needs impersonation rights. This setup allows the authorized user to act on your behalf for specific configurations.
Granting Access to Data Engine Connections
To share or grant access to existing Data Engine connections with another user, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Members section in Data Engine.
Search for the user to whom you want to grant access.
Click the three dots next to the user's name.
Select Manage Roles from the dropdown menu.
Assign the relevant permissions that provide access to the desired connections. This process ensures that the user has the necessary permissions to access specific Data Engine connections.
