Post a sales order
Click Selling, then click Transactions.
Click Sales Order.
A window appears with all the customer records.Select a customer and you can see the sales order form.
The fields are explained below around the form itself before starting to raise the order.
Order Versus Estimate | When you raise a new sales order, you'll get the option for either raising an order or an estimate. This can be found via the Account tab under the Header drop-down. |
Status | The status can be set to control the processes that can be performed on the order. |
Header | You can add a project and cost centres. |
Detail Lines | Same as sales invoicing, the only difference is you can choose a type and add a quantity. |
Once the form is complete, click Save.
